Welcome to my blog! My name is Ankita and I am a freshman at NYU studying journalism and film. I'll be documenting my experiences as I attempt to take on the big and beautiful city. 

 

I have been writing ever since I can remember, starting from short poems and stories, to reporting for publications such as The Evergreen Times and The San Jose Mercury News, and finishing my high school career as managing editor of my school paper. I thought about journaling my time in New York just for myself, but I wanted it to be something that I could share with the world and bring to you.

 

I want this blog to be a space where I can share my experiences, give advice about the city to anyone who may be coming here, and bring my personality into my writing. I welcome and appreciate any feedback, and if there's anything specific that you'd like to hear about the city, please feel free to contact me.
